Sims Metal was proud to support the Arthritis Foundation’s 2026 Commitment to a Cure Maryland event, held October 15 at Overlook at Rye Street Tavern in Baltimore.
As a Silver Sponsor, Sims Metal joined local organizations, community leaders and supporters in helping advance the Arthritis Foundation’s work for people and families affected by arthritis.
The Arthritis Foundation brings communities together through events like Commitment to a Cure to help fund research, provide resources for people living with arthritis and support efforts toward better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
Members of the Sims Metal, Mid-Atlantic team attended the event, representing the company and connecting with other organizations committed to making a positive difference across the region.
“Supporting organizations that strengthen the communities where we live and work is an important part of how we approach community partnership at Sims Metal,” said Troy Simms, Regional Operations Manager, Mid-Atlantic, Sims Metal. “We were pleased to support the Arthritis Foundation and the important work it does for individuals and families affected by arthritis.”
Sims Metal works to build meaningful relationships with organizations and community partners across the regions where we operate. Through partnerships, employee involvement and local engagement, we aim to contribute to stronger, more connected communities.
