Personal protective equipment (PPE) will cheerfully be provided to all people dropping off metal at our yard. Your safety is our top priority.

Tow Companies, Auto Dismantlers

We accept unprocessed cars from individuals and businesses, which have not gone through the initial steps of removing fluids and batteries, or “depolluting” the cars.

We also accept processed cars from tow companies, auto dismantlers, repair centers, insurance companies, car parts stores, body shops and car rental centers.

Contractors

Get paid for your jobsite scrap metal or metal from demolition projects. Drop off at our Stockton recycling center, or we can deliver roll off bins to your jobsite.

Production Equipment

Do you have oversized metal equipment? Retired machinery? No problem.  We work with manufacturers to help them remove obsolete production equipment and decommissioned in-plant equipment. Sims offers hauling equipment to handle bulk metal items.

Sims recycles obsolete farm equipment for farmers in the surrounding area.

We also participate in the NRCS farm equipment replacement program that encourages farmers to replace older equipment with Tier 4 emissions-certified diesel-powered equipment.  Includes “off-road mobile equipment used exclusively in agriculture” including tractors, loaders, bulldozers, harrowbeds, rough-terrain forklifts, harvesters, sprayers, sweepers, combines and swathers.

Metal Collection Bins for Your Jobsite

For large projects, or for metal collection at your jobsite or office, we offer multiple sized bins for ongoing collection of metal scrap.  Most tradesmen prefer our small forklift bins used for collection of insulated copper wire, copper pipe up to 6 ft in length, heavy gage copper wire, heavy gage aluminum wire and more.  We offer larger collection bins when needed.

Our Stockton recycling center is certified by the State of California to accept appliances that require special handling to ensure environmental safety. We accept refrigerators, freezers, washer & dryer, stoves, water heaters, air conditioners, furnaces and other appliances (white goods) from residents and appliance retailers.

We take this responsibility seriously and work with the State to stay up-to-date and complete required paperwork.

Doing a household cleanup or renovation? Bring your metal items to us to be recycled. We offer quick and friendly service. All driveways are concrete paved for easy access. Our staff will help with unloading bulky items. No appointment is necessary.  We accept copper, brass, aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, steel and iron.

Our scales are State certified and have digital outdoor weight indicators. Electronically generated scale tickets get you in and out quickly and accurately paid. We can provide receiving lists and account summaries as needed.
