Ferrous Metals & Non-Ferrous Metals

During Fiscal Year 2009, Sims Metal Management handled a total of more than 13 million tonnes of ferrous material. The use of this secondary raw material by steel mills around the world avoided the emission of 23.5 million tonnes of CO2 to the atmosphere when compared with the use of virgin ore.
