In Fiscal 2011 Sims Metal Management handled more than 14.2 Million tons of material, including: ferrous scrap, pig iron, hot briquetted iron (HBI), ferro alloys, billets & slabs, re-rollable products. Additionally, our worldwide presence – 260 locations on four continents – and activities allow Sims Metal Management increased market knowledge and opportunity to better assist and advise our domestic customers.

Furthermore, the company is one of the most significant partners to domestic raw material consumers and suppliers not owned or substantially controlled by a US steel producer – offering specific benefits and opportunities.
